Pro-Specs

A Korean brand of sneakers that is very popular in Korea. They were the so called "Nikes" or the "kicks to have" back in the day. Some of the older models are very rare and can value up to more than $600.

I remember I was ashamed to wear these kicks in public. When I was in the 3rd grade, my mom told me grandma sent us some cool sneakers. When I got the package, I was excited and was ripping thru the wrappers awaiting to find some fresh new pair of nikes or adidas. But...they were Pro-Specs. WTF. My mom forced me to wear em to school, so I did. I went to school wearing my brand new pro-specs and buncha white kids started laughing at me. I was sad. I wanted to go to the corner of the classroom and get into a fetus position and cry. I promised to never wear pro-specs again.

They're still in my closet or in some NYC dumpster...or prolly incinerated. But o well....fare well my pro-specs....fare....well.....
