This just in. There will be a Friends and Family version of the Michael Lau “skate:shoe:board” Dunk SB. This is a special “Not For Sale” version. It is reported that the Friends and Family version will come with a wooden box. The box is lighter in color compared to the Hyperstrike box. Also, the pattern on the box is a lot more detailed. The midsole on the F&F will sport a woodgrain pattern, rather than the solid brown midsole on the Hyperstrike. Insoles are also different, which also features woodgrain but will contain the Flagship Store Info printed on them. Nicely done for Friends and Family of Michael Lau.

Here is some more information about the upcoming release of the collaboration between Nike SB and the Hong Kong based vinyl master Michael Lau. The collaboration will include the woodgrain Dunk Low, 3 different styles of t-shirts and the vinyl figure “NY Set”. The shoes with the figure will release as a package priced at $1999HKD (~$260USD), and the tees at $499HKD - $569HKD (~$65USD - $73USD).
