Hello Solepedia visitors. This is the first blog post in more than a year. I am ashamed. I am also sorry. Unfortunately, not only has there been a lack of blog posts.. there have been zero updates to this site. However, It is SUMMER now.. so school is done meaning updating can happen. I want this site to be an amazing resource with every shoe under the sun archived. But, I can not do this alone.
SO, if you are willing to help keep this site updated I have put together Two(2) (for now) ways one can help in updating this site. I will start with the easiest and most efficient.
1)Since Solepedia.com is a wiki (just like Wikipedia) I have enabled it so ANYONE can edit (even you spammers). So all you need to do that is click edit at the top of a page. Editing Solepedia is easy. If you are usure how you can check out this link on Wikipedia
2) Send me information on a shoe via email and I will put it on here. Email me at edit@solepedia.com

Nike P-Rod II SB Black/Red Cement Print

After the success of the J-Rods, Nike is at it again with another Jordan inspired P-Rod SB release. This time they take Paul’s newest signature shoe, the P-Rod II SB and they have given it the Jordan III black/red cement treatment. The cement print position looks very similar to the Jordan III and the colors match as well. This sneaker looks like it’s going to be another sought after shoe, so be sure to keep your eyes open when these drop in Fall 2007.

JB Classics after being slightly quiet lately have decided to drop a new pair of Getlo Broken Bridges on us, this time coming in a fiery hot colorway of Burgundy & Scarlet Red. JB Classics has used materials such as scarlet red rich nubuck and buckskin, blood-red sandwich mesh, and aqua pigskin leather lining, along with a side panel graphic pattern consisting of Grenadier Guards gripping their muskets. JB Classics believes in quality over quantity so only 228 pairs will be released over the next week at select retailers as well as on their online shop. Nike Pro Bowl 2007 Air Force 1

For Pro Bowl 2007 in Hawaii this year, Nike has produced an Air Force 1 Player Exclusive to celebrate this event. This Air Force 1 features Hawaiian style laser etching throughout the shoe, Pro Bowl 2007 written on the tongue, different texture leather on the back heel and a clear sole. This is a simple looking sneaker, but when you look closer, you’ll find many great details that make this shoe stand out.

Nike Air Jordan III Pures

One of the most anticipated releases from Jordan Brand this year is definitely the Air Jordan III and with the success of the Pure and Black Cat Jordan IV last year, they are putting the same magic on the Jordan III. The Air Jordan III Pure features an all white upper with white elephant print, chrome accents, and elephant print laces. There is no exact release date on these sneakers now, but be sure to check back for more info.

Nike SB Feeling Lucky / Get That Money Dunks

One of the upcoming Nike Dunk High and Low SB set come from a interesting concept and inspiration. Here are photos of the Maneki Neko inspired Dunk set, Maneki Neko literally the Beckoning Cat is also known as the Lucky Cat, Money Cat or Welcoming Cat. It is a common Japanese sculputure made of ceramic and is believed to give good luck to it’s owner. It is put in stores, restaurants, businesses and more to help attract business, which after all means money. The high is done in a white with black, gold and orange colorway and says “feeling lucky?” on the tongue, where as the low is a cream, gold and orange colorway and says “get that money” on the tongue. No release date information at this moment, so be sure to check back for more info.

EA NBA Street Homecourt x Air Jordan B’Loyal

For EA’s newest upcoming NBA Street Homecourt game which is set to release in stores on February 22nd, EA has teamed up with Jordan Brand to design a B’Loyal sneaker and only 100 pairs were made. The designs were done by the EA design team and 60 pairs can be won in an online contest beginning next week. The B’loyal is done a black nubuck with blue stitching and accents featuring a speckled midsole.

Undefeated X Reebok Question

Undefeated did a collaboration with Reebok on these multi-colored Allen Iverson Questions. We came across this image of the sneaker while browsing the Laced section of Complex Magazine's June/July issue that hit newsstands last week. RBK Kolors Series

now available at the RBK Concept Store in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Concept store will be the only RBK Concept store to carry this series. The RBK Kolors series was first displayed as patent leather, but was later released in suede. Later this summer they will release the Patent Leather series, so stayed tuned for more bright exclusive color ways.

We finally have a preview of some of the Adidas Skateboarding shoes, the Stan Smiths and Superstars will be apart of this line and we will see what else comes. They have entered very strongly with some crazy materials and colorways but also the simple ones. A nice start to the line and we will see how they compare to the Nike line.

It is rare for sneaker companies to come together to do a collaboration together. However, Mad Foot! and Saucony have done just that and released the Mad Saucony PM. Fusing the beautiful craftsmanship of Saucony and the modern design of Mad Foot!, they have developed this new sneaker which looks good and functions equally as well. The colorways are also very well diverse for this sneaker. There's colors for those who like it bright and colors for those who like it subtle. These will be available in June.

SBTG x Nike SB Dunk

SBTG (or Sabotage) will be collaborating with Nike SB for a new Dunk Low that is scheduled to come out in August. For those who don't know, SBTG is one of the customization pioneers in the customs sneaker game so my hats off to him for doing a shoe with Nike SB. The Dunk will be in a 'Sable Green/Metallic Gold' colorway according to the line sheet.

Just like the previous pairs, the Stingray III will have Stingray material on both the New Balance logo and the heel of the shoes.
