We now have a “eastbay” picture of the upcoming Fire Red IV retros with Mars Blackmon stiched on the heel. Set to drop on the 22nd of July 06.
mars blackmon was a fictional character on jordan's played by the great spike lee. mars blackmon was originally a character from a 86' film "she's gotta have it". from these commercials, sprung one of the most famous catch phrases for the jordan enterprise "is it the shoes?...it's gotta be the shoes...". these sneakers use the original colorway, but with a screened picture of spike lee with the famous gazelle glasses and turned-bill "brooklyn" hat.
